Sisneq, a clothing brand owned by Raymon Mhamba who desired to have a clean and minimalist look for said brand. I was approached by Raymond and asked to create a Logo that's "sleek, minimalist & able to go on a athleisure as well as purses and lipstick if needed be." This was all I got from him which might seem too little information but was in fact an ideal situation for me to run free as long as I stay within the parameters of "sleek, minimalist & able to go on a athleisure as well as purses and lipstick if needed be."
Problem
The major problem was the lipstick and purse part of the request which in turn might restrict most of the avenues I was planning on exploring i.e. activity related Brand Marks.

Solution
Being used to minimalist design, I did not view this as much of a setback. I am does not going the route of the fashion industry to where the logos are very minimalistic but usually convey what the brand is about which is usually through semi abstract letter shapes, i.e. Sephora Logo. With Sisneq is a young company, I did not want to go too abstract and decided to use the first and last letters of the name and create an elegant font style logo that keeps the sleek & minimalist look but also upholding the "going on lipstick and/or purses" part of Raymond's request.
